Responsibilities:
- Designing mechanical structures of automotive products that include different kind (plastic, metal injection, metal sheet, extrusion or etc.) of mechanical parts assembling,
- Preparing mechanical part specs with GD&T principles,
- Preparing PMR (product measurement report) documents, BOM and Product Tree,
- Following up the mechanical molds from investment stage to start SOP,
- Participating in all meetings with internal teams or customers to discuss all requirements for related projects, analyzing and adapting into designs,
- Creating mechanical solutions in DV-PV stage by implementation to design change with ECN or new production process approach,
- Getting responsibilities for deliverables from start to finish,
- Get & share technical lesson-learnings with the team.
Genel Nitelikler:
- Bachelor's Degree in BS, MS or PhD degree Mechanical Engineering or equivalent/related field,
- At least 5 years of relevant full-time experience in automotive sector,
- Experienced in Mechanical Design such as plastic/sheet metal, injection or extrusion parts with the assemble each other on 3D design platform to create total product design,
- Good knowledge on CATIA V5, + preferable knowledge on Creo,
- Experience with Enovia
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD,
- Knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), IATF 16949 (FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP) and GD&T,
- Knowledge of stack-up analysis,
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, knowledge of Eight Disciplines Problem Solving (8D), following up DV-PV (design-process verification) with quality teams and creating solutions for possible or potential risks and problems,
- Knowledge of Environmental Conditions for Electrical Equipment (ISO 16750),
- Knowledge of Reliability, Safety standards,
- Experience on analyzing RFQ documents shared by product management teams,
- Understanding of value engineering principles for high volume manufacturing,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
- Skills to follow the project plans in accordance with design and mold schedules,
