EVC Hardware Design Engineer & Architect

Job Description:

Will be responsible from hardware design engineering duties inside AC or DC EV Charging Systems R&D projects;

• AC Charging stations from 7 kW to 43kW; DC Charging stations from 60kW to MW scale
• Design of power system control cabinet for DC EV fast charging product
• Design stage of electrical input block,  electronics supply & control sub-systems and cabling architecture
• Performing pre-design activities such as simulation and experimental studies
• Specifying / selecting critical components
• Performing circuit design and providing guidance to pcb layout design team
• Following up of R&D tests and taking corrective actions in case of problems

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bs.C. degree from a reputable university in one of following areas:
  • Electrical Engineering, preferably has taken Electronics based courses
  • Electrical / Electronics Engineering, preferably focused on Power Electronics topics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and evaluation of hardware design of electrical equipments or sub-systems
• Maintain up to date knowledge of new techniques and technologies
• Self motivated and disciplined
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• No restriction in travelling abroad
